Hello and welcome to my homepage. I am currently an Assistant Professor of Music Theory and HARP Research Fellow at Mississippi State University. I write for all combinations of instruments, from solo piano and songs to orchestra and symphonic band. Currently I am working on a piano prelude and a piece for violin and piano.

Latest News
Jason Bahr has been commissioned to write a new work for saxophone and piano by the Mississippi Music Teachers Association. The work will be written for Gail Levinsky (saxophone) and Jackie Edwards-Henry (piano). The premeire is scheduled for Fall 2007.
